Mrs. Dorothy Nadig, 74, Santa Monica, California, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, February 7, at Santa Monica Hospital.
  Born July 3, 1906 at Streator, Illinois, she was the daughter of George and Mina Haupt. She married Robert L. Nadig in Fox River, Illinois on January 1, 1926. He survives.
  She was a graduate of Fox River Academy, Fox River, and was a nurse. She had been a private duty nurse for Terry Drinkwater of CBS News. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Santa Monica. She had previously lived in Chrisman, Illinois.
  Other survivors include two daughters, Betty at home and Mrs. Joanne Starkey of Glendale, California; and two sisters, Ann Esburner of Cleveland, Tennessee and Mrs. Richard Claypool of Covington. She was preceded in death by a sister and two sons.
  Memorial services will be February 13 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Santa Monica. – thanks to S
